im thinking that every click he makes automatically be comes an attack click.
(so if its on a unit, he attacks the unit, if its the ground, he attack-moves)
which means he wont go off chasing his allies unless u tell him to

Indeed.

If you click on an ally what happens though? Just tells you you can't?

so you would attack him

as i stated it could work but in this case it might even need a nerf but play testing will tell Razz

yeah, im hoping it will turn out right. (and im holding u to that it could work kharn Razz)
the real annoying part is the not able to move to points anymore, because they are turned into attack-move orders instead

haha i understand how it owrks and im say8ing it could work but i feel it might need a rebalancing for the total amount of buffs he receives even if all clicks are attack clicks haha but we will see Razz

True, I definitely think it could work. One thing to keep in mind: With only attack-move orders, you can't retreat unless you break LoS/range of all enemy units, so that may balance out the buffs.

Re: Kharn - the Betrayer remake

lol, enough to send our Khârn fans running! Or liking! Hur hur. Anywho, here are some fluffy name suggestions à la Khornate (notwithstanding those that were already implemented for Khârn):
- Fury of the Blood God
- Dark Insanity
- Immortal Fury
- Brass Behemoth
- Kill! Maim! Burn!

I was thinking, if his ult makes him go wild, why not stick to 'The Betrayer'? Simple, effective and tells it all.

i guess but kharn can control his rage hes actually the one that brings it up Razz so i dont htink blind rage would really fit any follower of khorne since that more or less pretains to unwilling rage when they do so more then willingly Razz

Re: Kharn - the Betrayer remake

Post by DeusMechanicus on Thu Oct 08, 2009 10:11 pm

He may be able to summon it, but he has no control over himself once its upon him.

That's how he got his name "The Betrayer", 'cause he went berzerk and started attacking everyone around him- including his own Legion.

So, it is a blind rage.

Re: Kharn - the Betrayer remake

Post by Betrayer_kharn on Thu Oct 08, 2009 10:22 pm

i dont really think it is because he can control it he simply chooses not to
and even if u read how he got his name you would see this. it was at a battle of Skalathrax and the world eaters needed 1 mroe victory to fully defeat the emperors children. and htey had to do so before night or they would all be frozen over. the world eaters kept getting pushed back kharn got pissed and grabbed a flamer and started torching the closest buildings to him. anyone who trie to stop him got killed. so even in how he got his title he still controlled and summoned his rage. he just willingly uses it to its fulelst power. no matter who stands in the way

TBH< I don't think it really matters. Both fit him pretty well. The only real choice is which one sounds more aesthetically pleasing to each, and that's gonna differ per person.
