I'll suggest buffing Flak Armor to have 5% movement speed, since 2% doesn't have a noticeable effect.

Also, I edited Shape to be somewhat more Krootish. Otherwise, it's moved to the dev. forum.

while that effect might be very very strong, its prolly just a numbers thing
is it perminent?

edit: also, +5% ms on a 500g armor item? thats a bit much for its cost, and increasing the cost too much would make the armor portion less important to the item.
adding +2% moves a hero from the 300/average ms catagory to the 305/above average ms catagory.
its not supposed to be a big noticable effect

Grass, if you're going to sacrifice movement speed for protection, you might as well give people a noticeable effect on their movement. Considering this is taking up your armor slot compared to Termi armor which gives 15 armor and a lot more direct survivability, a 3 armor item should enable you to move quicker.

And for Shape. If they kill a Space Marine with 515 health, 2 armor, and 26 damage, they gain 51 health, 0 armor (So I guess that isn't needed) and 3 damage. I don't think it's too bad of an effect.

and did you just compare flak armor with terminator armor? Razz
if anything, compare it with adamantine mantle/wraithbone XD

or this armor vs termi, but you cant fairly compare flak with termi.

Considering how easily creeps die, they'd only get kills off 2 or 3 waves at the most before they hit the outpost. It could be permanent, but that's a balancing issue.

The comparision with termi was just a conceptual thing, to show that there should be at least a balance between armor and maneuverability. Even 3% would be better for Flak Armor. Once you buy it, you can't essentially get any more armor from it. It goes from 2 to 3 armor, so other things have to compensate.

oh, wait... do heroes benefit from shape then? thats what i was getting at XD

and flak armor is just a low level armor that instead of giving more boring +armor (similar to adamantine mantle) it gives less armor and more ms. if your a hero that really needs his armor, flak is prolly a bad idea, while if your more of a chaser hero, or w/e, flak is good to move you up in that ms bracket.

and in the long run, no one will end up with just a flak armor in their inventory Razz
so we cant make the termi-flak connection, however you look at it
