[Incomplete]Rogue Primaris Psyker

Rogue Primaris PsykerIf Male: Aeos Valerin | If Female: Elizabeth Taithan

Role: Acts entirely as an anti-caster. Most of its abilities are geared towards the cancellation of spells, not just abilities. Most standard abilities will go unhindered by the Primaris Psyker’s power, but woe betides those unfortunate enough to be caught within his psychic influence.

Stats: Approximated via posted guidelines.
Main Attribute: Intelligence

Intel: 25 Gain: 2.4

Strength: 18 Gain: 1.8

Agility: 19 Gain: 1.9

Attack Range: 400

Movement Speed: 300


Description: At one time, one of the Imperium’s most powerful psykers, this Primaris Psyker has come to the self-realization that, they do not really like the ideals of the Imperium, and now look at where he is? Now quite independent and certainly, much more powerful because of it, he utilizes the powers of a high grade psyker to nullify other psykers’ powers while dishing out some pain of his own.


Innate: Wargear: (Passive: Feedback/Direct Spell Damage Reduction)

Within the Primaris Psyker’s Psychic hood and neural implants lies its primary defense against the warp, these tools work for the Primaris Psyker in some sense. Not only does it allow it to release warp energies into the air around it, it can lash back against the foul energies or other daemons. Anytime a spell is used upon the Primaris Psyker, the damage will be diluted to its nearby allies, giving 1/2/3/4/5/6% of the spells damage to nearby allies. This will not reduce the damage of the spell below 75/70/65/60/55/50% The Psyker will also lash out against the caster, dealing an amount equal to 25% mana cost + his intelligence score. (Only effects direct attacks)


Skill 1: Psychic Deluge: (Active: Mini-stun/Mana burn)

The Rogue Primaris Psyker is a powerful being, capable of overpowering most other psykers. The Primaris Psyker unleashes 2/3/4/5 bursts of powerful psychic energy every 3/2/2/1 seconds, stunning the enemy for .1 seconds and dealing an amount of damage comparable to 9/8/7/6% of the target’s maximum mana through mana burn. If the Primaris Psyker has higher intelligence than the target, the mana burn will be doubled to 18/16/14/12%

(At 1400 mana, a target would take 350 damage after the fifth burst at level 5)

Cooldown: 45/40/35/30 seconds

Skill 2: Psychic Upheaval: (Active: Stun/Knockback)

The Primaris Psyker can extend his influence into the body of a target, stiffening the muscles of their body, effectively paralyzing them. It is then very easy to take advantage of the situation, following up the paralysis with a blast of psychic energy dealing 75/125/175/225 spell damage and knocking the target back 100/200/300/400 distance over a period of 1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds.

Note: For this skill, the summons could either be controllable or not controllable. Either works.

Possible skill: (Rogue’s Retinue: Summon Bodyguard):

The Primaris Psyker has travelled the galaxay in search of a home where he will not be hounded by the Imperial dogs. On this journey, he has met other psykers like himself. He has taken these fugitives under his wing, and together they avoid the Imperium, but when they Inquisition or other forces bear down upon them, they rely on eachother to fight back. Summons 2 Rogue Psykers to assist.

Level 1: Summons two Epsilon level Rogue Psykers

The Epsilon Level Rogue Psykers have a weak attack, low life and armor and soak up physical damage intended for the Primaris Psyker. Their ability negates 5% incoming damage a piece.

Level 2: Summons two Delta Level Rogue Psykers

The Epsilon Level Rogue Psykers have an average attack, low life and armor and soak up physical damage intended for the Primaris Psyker. Their ability negates 10% incoming damage a piece.

Level 3: Summons two Gamma Level Rogue Psykers

The Gamma Level Rogue Psykers have a high attack, average life and armor and up damage intended for the Primaris Psyker. Their ability negates 15% incoming damage a piece. Gamma Level Psykers have an attack that bounces twice for 25% less damage per bounce.

Level 4: Summons two Beta Level Rogue Psykers

The Beta Level Rogue Psykers have a very high attack, high life and armor and soak up damage intended for the Primaris Psyker. Their ability negates 20% incoming damage a piece. Beta Level Psykers have an attack that bounces twice for 25% less damage per bounce and a fanatic aura which increases nearby minion attack speed by 15% and movement speed by 5%.

Each Psyker lasts thirty seconds with a [color=orange]90/80/70/60 second cooldown.

Damage absorbed by the Psykers deals double damage to them.
All level psykers also have a feedback for 10% mana cost a piece.

Ultimate: Psyker’s Wrath: (Active Radial Damage)

The Primaris Psyker is the ultimate psyker (save for the emperor), and as such, this display of their fierce power goes without question. The Psyker, when stressed badly enough, creates a massive burst of energy around themselves, releasing powerful lances of psychic energy in the form of black lightning, striking the nearest five enemies, bouncing 0/1/2 times, dealing 100/200/300 damage with 50% damage reduction per bounce. Each time an enemy is struck by a bolt of lightning they are knocked back 400/300/200 in accordance to bounce, being stunned for .1 second upon contact.

Cooldown: 1 Minute

Cooldowns and mana costs would likely need to be added/modified after I know the character's stats.

Number balancing pending, approved to incomplete.

Also, quick comments.

Innate: Looks fine so far, no changes imagined, besides numbers.

Skill 1: Needs a damage cap. Late game, will be able to do in upwards of 700-1000, which is a bit much. Mana burnt can be uncapped, but the damage will be too much.

Skill 2: Why a duration to knock back? xD Just knock them back 400 distance instantly, as to keep them from you.

Skill 3: Again, more numbers, although looks to be fine.

Ult: Until we test this, it'll be hard to imagine it. Because the bounce target is random, it could either do a lot of damage or none at all.

Well, Faire, you're in luck. I rather fancy this build for the current psyker as a potential remake. I'd change the third skill to a magic resistance/invisible ward, but that's just me. Up to grass to see if he likes the skills.

Note to grass: I looked at Rakel, and all I found in the text was that she was a crazy psycho bitch who liked the color green and had a voice like nails on a chalkboard. Not a very appetizing character, nor is there a lot to go on for her skills, so that's why I posted this.

i am in agreement Razz

and im also against a summon for this guy, it feels very out of place. a good supportive skill (like gly suggested) would do well
