Your missing the point of hes a caster. Casters never are supposed to be super tough. He has a very high dps rate with his dots and nuke, he doesnt need survivability in a big way. Most casters get the mana shield armor, and staff. That is a ton of survivability right there, for all the heros that dont have defensive abilities. Hes not weak, not by a long shot, but he is squishy. He doesnt need to be tough, just hit harder then the other guy.

Idk... It's not really fun if every intelligence hero is exactly the same... >.>

Lol, wait a second.

I'm going to blow your mind with this statement.

In a game where you make the rules, nothing is set in stone except by what you limit your imagination to.

Casters can tank, if their skillset is fitting. Tanks can cast, vice versa. Carries can go hybrid in any number of ways, and there's no wrong way to it.

Offense is one of the best defenses, but if or when silence staff comes out, he'll find himself crying tears of rage when he gets torn to pieces. Casters should cast spells, but be weary of the amount, before you get silenced and can't do anything to another hero. Glass cannons are impractical to make because they either die too fast or kill everything and cause massive amounts of whoring and bitching. Make a balanced hero, because that's our end aim.

SAYS MR. ITS ALL FLUFF AND NO BALANCE. GTFO WHORE!!!!

Like I said... not every caster needs to be squishy POS that does nothing but throw around spells and get bent over backwards whenever they run out of mana or are on CD and some tank decides to hammer the piss out of them.

Heh. Try as hard as you can to think that I don't care about balance, Faire, because it'll take a lot of effort to ignore the fact that I bitch about balance on a daily basis, especially since most of that comes on the warcraft 3 chat.

But since your computer is perma-fucked, I guess that's the interpretation you'll just have to work with.

And Mort, while you may disagree with what Faire says, she has the right to say it where and when she wishes. I don't take terribly too much offense to it, so let it slide and continue the discussion about your hero.

Maybe that's because I don't want to interrupt you from doing your work. So get back to it. ^^;

I mean, is it really necessary for someone to tell you what needs be done? While I think your hero needs polish and has potential, Mortis, your energy really shouldn't be devoted to making and arguing about heroes.

Go look at the items thread and make comments. Go examine a Tau/Tyranid/Dark Eldar hero that will be put in later into the game. Go find a bug/imbalance within the map and bring it to Grass's attention.
