just a check in: I've been playing a ton of HoN. More than is necessary in fact. My SC2 project got dropped *when people wouldnt get online to help me test >: o*, but i still have that essentially ready to go and waiting feedback.
I've also picked up Tau, (kinda) Grey Knights, and (kinda) Necrons for the table top.

I've recently had to move all my stuff out of my room for renovations and had the desire to look through my written code for the map XD oh nostalgia how I wish my map was popular and worth developing still D:

I've actually played both LoL and DotA2, and I have to say I prefer HoN. The graphic style in LoL and Dota really turns me off, and I just prefer the HoN ui.

Plus, HoN has mods, which I've tried my hand at, so it appeals to the programmer side of me

I've tried LoL, but it's too slow paced for me.
I might give DoTA 2 a chance. After all, after having been away from HoN for like 2 years, some of the changes are really disappointing (Like that SR, SW and Defiler, two of my fav heroes from beta and DoTA back when I still played that, suck an incredible amount of balls now. Gotta play stupid heroes like EW or MB to dominate games, and they're so incredibly boring...). Also F2P, while a great system, made the already worst community ever even worse

But yeah... enough about HoN. How've you all been?

UI and skin/model mods mostly. Nothing that affects the game. There's apparently a beta map editor, but no custom game support at all really.

Cell, I do plan on getting Diablo 3 when it comes out, but I've never been really into the game. I'd play it through one, mayby twice for the story, but thats pretty much it.

I'm actually on HoN. And waiting for any of you to show up. >> Though I have no idea which heroes do what or how the system has its quirks.

Have you played DotA? enough to remember their heroes?

Also, Grass. How hard would it be to change the genre of your map? The number of people who play AoS's on WC3 are practically non-existent, since there's DotA/HoN/LoL for dedicated MOBA play, and so people who still play WC3 want to find maps that are different.

Yeah, I still need to preorder it though. Keep forgetting to. TBH though, I don't have a whole lot of time for any games right now with all the schoolwork I have. Still find time to get online, but yeah, you won't see me as much as you once did (Though I guess it's still an improvement over the last year or so).

So does that mean the W40k map is no longer an AoS, or isn't like it used to be on WC3?

W40k aos is essentially dead, unless anyone wants to take up development.
If I do any sort of 40k project on sc2, if I get back into that, it'll be some sort of LotRish map.
