well, crit is the same as bonus damage really Razz its just bonus damage on your entire damage, instead of stats+base... cause thats how 50% bonus is calculated

This is the tecno flying baby of death you see in so much 40k art. You know what i am talking about the fat child with a robotic eye and armed with a sword and surrounded by skulls flying and not...

well it is a familiar to psychers serving a physical conduits for their power.

+15 int
+10% attack speed

Active ability
Sanctuary

The caster pushes all units within 300 range away and will not allow any to enter that space for 12 sec. cost 120 manna.

Technically the familiar just give access to other powers so if someone has this power, which my unfamiliarity with the map is coming out quickly, another power could replace it. I was thinking a lot of players are not playing int heroes because they get killed to fast this gives them some room and to abuse it...a push aura.

No, what I mean is say, if the item gives a chance of doing a set number, like 40, extra damage, then that's fine.

If you are making critical strike an item, then I beg you, please don't do it.

Well, passive crits, on just the chars they were meant for, have been making the game a bitch to balance. Put them on chars who weren't supposed to have them, and it's going to be insane.

I mean, imagine heroes like Librarian, Shadow Hunter, Burning Lance, Living Saint, Chaplain, Pathfinder, Warboss, Soultheif, Mistress of Death, Bloodthirster, and other such heroes, not to mention some of the upcoming ones, with critical strike!

Then on top of that, you have heroes with crits, who, either they get double the chance, or it just makes their skills less important since they could get almost the same thing from an item.



And while we're on the topic, is there any way to make it so you can't have the same item twice? The reason I ask is because Typhus with 3-4 bionics is unstoppable.

a 15% chance to do 1.65 damage, translates into: ~10% bonus damage

so, i could give the powerfist 10% bonus damage, or i could give it that crit... its the same thing (just using random numbers)

Okay i have came up with alot of items, but i am not good with the warhammer names so i left them blank.
Feel free to edit them however you want

+15 agi
+5 int
+25 as
Purge (active)

+10 agi
+25 as
+15% evasion

+10 dmg
+10 ms
Windwalk (active)

+10 dmg
+2 hp regen
+75% mana regen

I was thinking the item above turns into the one bellow like a recipe.

+20 dmg
+4 hp regen
+100% mana regen
+cleaving attack 15-20%? (Meele)

well those are all my items that i came up with change them how you want

One thing: If you do put a WW item in, and even if you don't actually, can Auspex either not cost honor or not drop on death. It is pretty expensive for what it is.

Thinking, like you said Grass, there are plenty of weapons and armour types, but not enough caster items.

I dont know if theres an item just up from Emblem of Chaos undivided that gives +3 to all stats, perhaps create an item called Emblem of the Warp, that gives +10 to all stats.

So:

Spirit Stone. x2
That item that gives +10 int.
Emblem of the Warp.
Perhaps power weapon, not sure if the recepie needs this.
Buy recepie
= Sceptre of the Bloodgod.

Gives:
15 damage.
35 int.
13 to agi and str.
300% increased mana regen.
And the ability 'Rain of Blood'.
'The Bloodgod sends an unholy rain of blood, blessing his allys with 400 restored hp, and a temporary buff that gives 10+damage, 15% ias and ms bonus, also doing the same to his enemies, but reducing damage, ias and ms.

Another great idea from you 13loodRaven, I like it a lot. However, the item's castable ability will probably need some balancing. Also, shouldn't it give units increased hp regeneration as well.

We have almost no support items; so, I'd really like to see this one implemented (after it's balanced).

cept we CANT call it scepter of the blood god, cause khorne abhors psykers of any kind Razz
perhaps call it staff of tzeench, and it sommons winds of chaos that has the same effect

my thoughts:
spirit stone
psychic link (+10 int)
mark of tzeench
close combat weapon

gave:
+28 int
+2 str
+2 agi
+8 damage
+100% mana regen
+1.3 mana regen per second

costs (1500 + 1000 + 650 + 500)
3650 + 850(recipie)
4500 gold total

now gives:
+25 int
+5 all stats
+12 damage
+2.3 mana per second aura
Winds of chaos

winds of chaos appears from 500 units behind the caster, and travels to 1k units infront, healing allies for 235 hp and giving +5% damage and +15% ias, and damages enemies for 140, slowing their movement by 10% and ias by 20%

I like it! And I think Grass' edit is probably what should go in.

Great stuff 13lood!

However, back to the truesight thing right now:

Yes, truesight is a powerful tool, no doubt, but making it cost one honor AND take an item slot to itself on top of the gold seems a bit high. Does the DoTA one also ask for their equivalent of honor?
On top of this, atm, there are very few stealth heroes, and unless you're going up against a certain few (I know there are more coming, but right now they aren't there), it has a rather limited use.

I dunno... it just seems so disappointing when you spend an honor point only to have it destroyed 5 min later because you got ganked or something. (In my last game that I got it, it was even more disappointing since it was because of an OPed hero...)

Still, Chaos has some of the most powerful casters out there; The Chaos Sorcerer could just rename it 'Staff of the Heretic' or something and just rename the ability with the same effect.
I has teh idea:

What about adding something like a set in the next ver? Like mixing weapons and armour into one item, or, what I have always thought of, mixing those marks together, Mark of Khorne, Mark of tzeench, mark of nurgle etc... Into one great item to maybe add into a 'set' recepie?

the 4 marks are gona combine to make the 'mark of chaos ascendent' which abbadon has.. the thing about combinding armor, is... u cant... cause your only allowed to wear one... so u cant combine from two different trees

Here's my crack at an item.

Prereq:
Bio-mech Limb 1000 g
Lightning Claw 2250 g
Mark of Khorne 900 g

Total Cost: 4150 g and 3 Honor.

Tyrant's Claw
+ 36 damage
+ 18 Strength
+ 12 Agility
+ 6 Intelligence
+ 35% attack speed

When clicked upon, can use a spell akin to cone of flame. This flame will do 200 damage to all those in its area plus 10 damage a second for 10 seconds. Will also hinder movement of affected units, slowing them by 15%. Has a mana cost of 250 and a cooldown of 45 seconds.

Derived from its namesake, the Tyrant's Claw is a bionic limb used by Huron Blackheart, leader of the Red Corsairs. Its chaotic nature reinforces the pure power behind this device, as it not only gives the user immense strength to cleave thine foes, but also can spray the very flames of hell to ensure all die the most painful of deaths.

Pulse Rifle:
+ 15 damage
+ 10 agility
+ 10% attack speed

Lightning Shield: 250 g
Stock Bolter: 500 g (Not implemented yet, but the core item for all ranged weapon builds, with the exception of some items)
2 X Sensor Arrays: 300 g
Recipe Cost: 950 g

Total Cost: 2000 g, 1 honor

The Pulse Rifle is the name by which Fire Warriors go by. All who have seen the devastating volleys of disciplined Fire Warrior Squads know that the Pulse Rifle is one of the deadliest ranged weapons in the universe. Uses high amounts of energy to turn a projectile into a bolt of plasma which then strikes with fatal force.

Hydraulic Suit:
+ 15 agility
+ 15 strength
+ 5 hp Regen
+ 5 armor

Biological Stimulus: 1000 g
Bionics: 1300 g
Recipe Cost: 200 g

Total Cost: 2500 g, 1 honor

Although this armor goes by many names, it is commonly used in aspects of armor in all races. Its core aspect is to reduce the shock encountered due to large amounts of force. The fluid contained within the apparatus boosts the reflexes and survivability of the user due to chemical agents that boost healing and reaction time.

Targeting Array:
+ 16 Agility
+ 40% attack speed

2 x Sensor Array: 300 gold
Stim Pack: 1500 gold *psst, stim pack needs to cost more
Recipe Cost: 200 gold

Total Cost: 2000 gold, 1 honor

The Targeting Array is commonly used by Tau troops to assist and enhance the aim and effectiveness of the shooter. It compensates for wind, gravity, & cover by adjusting not only the user's aim and sites, but also the weapon's rate of attack and angle of fire, making it an incredibly useful addition as a piece of equipment.

And a weapon that uses all of these!

Rail Rifle:
+ 25 damage
+ 35 agility
+ 15 strength
+ 5 hp regen
+ 50% attack speed

Has a 25% chance to pin an enemy in their tracks, stunning them for 0.2 seconds.

Prereqs:

Hydraulic Suit: 2500 g
Targeting Array: 2000 g
Recipe: 500 g, 4 honor

The epitome of Tau technology, the Rail Rifle is the power of the infamous Railgun shrunk down for individual use. Able to strike from the farthest reaches and pin down hapless enemies, the weapon can only be used by the most skilled and technologically equipped users. In addition, to improve its killing potential, the Rail Rifle has been upgraded to improve its speed of firing. Only for the most skilled or courageous of troops, the Rail Rifle is a definite upgrade of its counterpart, the Pulse Rifle, and should be treated with respect by both friend and foe.

Grass, I meant not combining two armours. Combine something like, singing spear, and the manashield armour into a 'set'. Im not saying this as so one could get more than one two handers, or more than two armours, without terminator honours that is. Just saying so one could have more items to carry.

I like all your ideas, but I just want to point out this is essentially a cheaper combat drugs.
