development of titans mode (.46+)
ok, this isnt comming any time soon, but its ezier to have ideas down before it coems time to put it in.
so, basic premis:
player blue types -tm as a game mode, enabling titans mode
every X amount of time, a titan will spawn in a random lane
titans are imensly powerful units
some ideas:
Necron Monolith:
hp: 3500
armor: 10 (fortified)
movespeed: 300
damage: 114-187 (siege -artillary)
attack cooldown: 3 seconds
range: 600
abilities:
Gause Flux Arc (passive: 4 seperate phoenix fire abilities with a .75 cooldown each, dealing 50 damage each)
Power Core (passive: taregt the monolith with a move "m" command to teleport to the monolith, 1500 range, 20 second cooldown)
Living Metal (passive: increases regeneration by .1 for every attack against it untill the damage taken is healed)
=====================
Eldar revanent titan:
hp: 3000
armor: 10 (fortified)
movespeed: 350
damage: 98-156 (siege)
attack cooldown: 1.4
range: 600
abilities:
D-Cannon: (autocast: fires the arm attached d-cannon at the target area, dealing 10% of a units max life over 2 seconds)
Holo-fields: (passive: 50% evasion)
(tbh, being an eldar player, im dissappointed for not knowing stats of an eldar titan...)

Re: development of titans mode (.46+)
That's 'cause Eldar are phail.. Their Titans are just oversized Wraithguard.
Land Raiders aren't really Titans.. A Titan would step on a Land Raider and not even notice.
And Orks have actual titans. They're made to look like Gork and Mork, called Gargants.

Re: development of titans mode (.46+)
cause they are the equivilant of like 10 tanks, in one unit.. and they usually take up their *own* force orginization chart (amiright?) and are thus their own army. and dont fit very well in a 1.5-2k point game
Re: development of titans mode (.46+)
Well, pretty sure you can use Warhound Titans in the TT... Maybe... I don't know, but I've seen the models.
But, as an example, the Imperator-class Titans ... Would be like New York City walking around shooting things. The massive cannon in Victory Bay from Dark Crusade is just one cannon from an Imperator Titan... They carry alot of those cannons.

I believe with the release of the apocalypse rules, you can use a warhound imperial titan. Here's a link to an article that includes a Warhound.
