So far we have...

Power: Double Damage
Vitality: Recovers 1400 hp over 10/90 seconds
Focus: Infinite mana, dispels on attack
Speed: Max Movement Speed for a short period.

What else should we have?

Illusion? Armor? Anti-magic shield?

And runes should spawn at all three points on the map which they are capable of doing so as to give all lanes a fair advantage.

edit:
new compilation of all the runes (including new ones)

gift of khorne = +100% damage
gift of Tzeentch = infinate mana, dispells on attack
gift of Slaanesh = maximum movement speed
gift of Isha = 1350 hp over 10 seconds, dispells on attack
gift of Cegorach = invisiblity
gift of the Deciever = illusions
gift of the Dragon = reveals the map for 3 seconds
gift of Vaul = magic imunity for 30(20?) seconds.

gift of the emperor = +1 level
gift of khain = +3 strength
gift of Asuryan = +4 agility
gift of Lileath = +5 intelligence

and dont forget rare runes:
intelligence: +5 perma int
agility: +3 perma agi
strength: +2 perma str (i dont remebe the actual values >.>)
skill: +1 perma level

i dont erally wanna do illusion... (too much dota right?)
i also want to rename the runes, or change their names or something to make them less rune-full, and more 40kish

gift of khorn = power
gift of tzeench = focus
gift of slaanesh = speed
gift of nurgle = vitality

gift of (laughing god, dont know its name) = illusions
other ideas: magic imunity, attackspeed (more like 150%, not 400 XD)

gift of the emperor = skill
gift of (for these, are there any gods associated with stats? like gift of khain for str?)

A couple ideas:

-A rune that gives vision of the entire map for 2-3 seconds (no true-sight).
-Maybe a rune that decreases all CDs by 5-10 seconds, if doable, for a duration of 10-20 seconds?
-Rune that summons some type of demon?
-Failing that, a rune that summons a free hireable wave?

visible map could be good
cooldowns arent doable (and reseting cooldowns doesnt do very much at all for some heroes, altho it could be argued that damage or focus runes arent all that helpful...)
a summon rune i dont really want to do...
(but an honor rune wouldnt be thaaat bad... but prolly not)

so, for runes:

We need Mork and Gork too for the orks xD

Necrons have nightbringer too.

Tau have ethereals, since they're sort of in demi-god status

Gift of the Machine God could be used for sight across the map.

Gift of Isha (Eldar Goddess) could be used for +5 intel.

As for agility, hmm.

Blessing of Macharius- An aura that gives a movement and attack speed bonus to all allies within a area.(I suck with giving good bonuses, so whatever you guys decide is fine with me)

Oh, and wouldn't making the healing rune make more sense as the Gift of Isha? You know, it would fit the Healing Goddess more than the Chaos God of Rot and Decay <_<

Hmm some ideas, and remember there is a bezerk rune that gives max ias...
Truesight Rune (Tainted Auspex?)
Lightning Shield Rune (Zappa Shield?)
Global Spirit Link rune
Random Effect On Attack Rune (Gift of the Warp?)
Phase Rune (Mark of the NightBringer?)
A Non-slowing Purge Rune? (Blessing of the Etheral?)

Maybe have random spawning traps around the map, like on the campaign of DoW3 you invade the Chaos base Khorne had marked the land with his bloody will, blah blah blah, why not have a blood pulse in w40kaos?

i want runes to really affect one person only... if at all possible, so no go on adding auras and stuff

well, then who do you suggest for the int rune then? Razz i can do that if we come up with a replacement for the +int rune, because nurgle blsees people with bulk and resilience, and a way of being resiliant is to regenerate (i know, its a stretch... but thats how i make it fit XD)

@blood:
ive pretty much decided that runes are now gifts of the gods... so no equipment
however, a phaseic rune might be a nice idea

Could always make the int rune be Gift of Lileath, Goddess of Dreams. <_< Cause that pretty much goes along with the farseers, which you have ingame as having the highest natural int gain I think. Plus, if you want to stick with your Nurgle making his followers more resilient you could make Gift of Nurgle be a temporary health or armor buff.

If you go the route of calling them gifts... what if there is a gift of vengeance. Say a player is 3 or 4 levels behind a different player. They would get a gift maybe bonus bounty or a bouns to bounty creeps give after that kill. I am going with the idea of letting a player catch up if needed but it may not be a good idea.

I meant just as a gift not that it has to be picked up. But as in when this happens. It could also be there to keep honor and bounty being given to higher players feeding on lower ones.

well, for sure lower level players dont give honor... and im gona rework the bounty calculations... but currently u get more bounty the higher level u are...

(how about this for possibly better bounty - 250 +- 20*lvldifference gold)
