Third post. Glys post has the final stuff for the Ult and Screamer Killer.

It's fine, just never understood the kill part on your idea. If you kill something, does it continue the move for that added amount or is it like a bleed? I would advise against the ministun in Bloods suggestion. Carnifex could very well wade into a wave at a hero, pop this, and then when something dies be safe for the rest of the time. He would be stunning the creeps and the hero, and each slam would trigger it again. I doubt anyone would enjoy being locked down by a Carnifex of all things <_<. The slow would be fine.

Also, what did we ever agree on ram btw? <_< And did we ever think of using the part of him being like a screamer killer carnifex now to solve the trees problem?

Also, the last move. Unless you can think of a way to make Alpha Leader not what it is now, I'd advise on something else. Right now it's only necessary to get one level of it to get it effects. I would rather have a skill thats not a throwaway skill.

i was thinking on alpha leader... and to make it good, we would need to pile on the effects (like the aura, the active target, bonus on kill, and active buff when he targets something) i was thinking of doign that.
then i realised thats like 4 skills in one which should never work...
so unless we can work with something, its a candidate to be scrapped


as to rage:
deals x damage per interval (which i would hope would be less than 1 second)
if he kills a unit, the damage per interval increases by x
(bloods idea taken by me) if he kills a unit, he ministuns enemies for that damage interval (not the rest)


ram:
i think i can fix the tree problem by ordering him like 100 distance infront of him repeatedly instead of just ordering him to the target location
this will (hopefully) bypass the unit ai that doesnt like wlaking through trees even tho he can

If that doesn't work, you could have him roar the trees down, and then charge to the target or something <.<.

It wouldn't just be a tree knockdown. It would be like a daze or something to units caught in the scream. The area inside the scream would make trees fall, and it would also allow for better aiming of his ram/team battle help.

This is just from him now being a Screamer Killer now, so yea.

<_< No, thats why I edited in now. But you are aware we gave him the move Screamer Killer, right? It's not something he has codex, but its better than giving him crushing claws or scything talons. Because thats all he has left besides what we've already given him. <.< He also doesn't have spine banks, which his old build gave him.

<_< He doesn't get Bio-Plasma either. Only regular carnifex's have access to that. The thing that make Old One Eye special is his massive regenerative abilities and being able to swat tanks like flys with his Crushing Claws.

and since he is a carnifex and carnifexes have bio plasma... we can assume that old one eye can have bio plasma as well

<.< I know. I'm just saying. The special thing about Screamer Killers are their high pitch screams followed by bio plasma to the face. The special thing about Old One Eye is his regenerative abilities are so good that he revived from taking a plasma shot to the brain (not revive as in the hive mind remade him like swarmlord and himself have been. Like years later his frozen corpse got up and started a killing spree on the people that found it and then everything on the planet.)

Why did ya'll decide against the crushing claws? And to support using them, (dont have a codex on hand) doesnt he have a more powerful version of crushing claws than a normal fex?

cause crushing claws would be boring as a skill :p
and they are semi-incorperated into his berzerk rampage skill


and as far as i know, his claws are normal

Nothing special about his claws, they're just like every other fex with them. He's just a really strong fex.

I didn't mind the claws myself, gives him anti-tank capabilities as a tank, but I suppose a ranged nuke helps him anyway.

i never saw the claw's abilities but Old One Eye doesnt have a Bio-Plasma ability. I do however like the Bio-Plasma ability in general. I would suggest that the ult has the "monstrous creature" ability not the "crushing claws" ability since its the "monstrous creature" ability that lets it kill in one hit to normal units, this also lets it ignore their armor (i think?).

updated the first post with my rage, gly's bio plasma after some discussion, and gly's regeneration.

i assumed ram was the same, correct me if im wrong


and we need to work on the third skill....


i want to keep alpha leader cause its the other skill that makes it old one eye.
not to mention that the sharing ms/agi is an original idea >.>
but i cant think of anything else to make it useful.

some ideas:
-bonuses/buffs on cast
-bonuses/buffs when old one eye kills a unit
-take control of creeps

if none of these work, a new skill is also welcome if someone can come up with one.
but i got nothing
