there heros btw...

screemer killer - tyranid carnifex
i dont actually have any ideas for this XD
im thinking...

adrenal glands - +attackspeed
regeneration - +regen
reinforced chittin - +hp/str?
bio plasma- dot and slow?
not many ideas for this guy

Zoanthrope:
synapse -
warp blast - small aoe dmg, or single target nuke... dunno
shadow in the warp - negative aura
psychic scream - if i can do it, make it a breath of fie with a stun or something
catalyst - something involving creeps or something

Zoanthrope:

Synapse - I got nothing
Warp Blast - Small AoE
Void Presence - Gives negative regeneration to all enemies nearby
Psychic Scream - Make it more like Roar instead of a breath of fire effect, it is a scream after all.
Catalyst - Creates a black hole that sucks in all creeps nearby, when the black hole collapses, it spawns a Warpforged Being who's power depends on how many creeps it sucks in. Maximum of 8 creeps. Being increases in strength every 2 creeps.

u do know what catalyst does in the game right? Razz
it makes it so a target unit can attack even if the models have been killed before their initiative

thx for shadow in the warp skill tho Very Happy
and i think i know what im doing for screem... its gona be a nova like skill... (poison nova, or shiva's active if u play dota) that will dmg, stun, and *maby* afect mana or status somehow

kk, i think i got an outline:

Zoanthrope
Stats:
strength: 22 + 1.7
agility: 15 + 1.4
->Intelligence: 26 + 2.7

movespeed: 290
attack range: 500

innate: synapse creature
(something about beacons for lesser tyranids, causing them to have more focused attacks) Causes all units near the Zoanthrope to deal an additional 3/6/9/12/18/24 magic damage to their target.

skill one: Psychic scream
(something about emiting terrifying high pitched screams that rend the very soul) emits a scream that casuses 70/120/170/220 damage, slows by 25/30/35/40% for 3 seconds, and lowers magic resistance by 3/6/9/12% for 13 seconds. magic resistance effects stack.
cd: 6 seconds. manacost: 70/80/90/100

skill two: Warp Blast
(something about concentrated warp energy exploding) after a small (~.5-1) delay, deals 120/200/280/360 (small)aoe damage at the target point, and knocks back a short distance
cd: 14 seconds. manacost: 100/115/130/145.

skill three: Shadow in the Warp
(somethign about iritating warp presence of zoanthropes) enemy units that cast spells nearby the zoanthope will take .3/.5/.7/.9x the spells manacost in damage
large aoe(~800-1100)

ult: Catalyst
(something about empowering the bodies of nearby nids to keep fighting) whenever a creep dies near the zoanthrope, it will keep attacking whoever killed it with max attackspeed for 3/5/7 attacks
med aoe(~400-700)

Removes all debuffs from the Zoanthrope and makes it immune to slows. In addition, all sources of damage have a 30/40/50/60% chance of being ignored.

AoE: 650

Duration: N/a

Every time a nearby enemy casts a spell, there is a 10/15/20/25% chance that it will fail and they will take 50/75/100/125% of the mana cost in damage.

ult: Warp Storm

Mana Cost: 400/430/460

Casting range: 1000

CD: 200

AoE: 550

Duration: 10/15/20 seconds

Every enemy in the AoE is struck by a Warp Blast (That scales with the innate) once per second, with a 20/30/40% chance to be adminstered the 'Psychic scream' debuff (That scales with the skill) with each hit.

He has no 'main attack', Warpblast is kind of a stand-in for it, as it's easily spammable and light on mana. Which is why he needs his 'Gimpy' int gain. He also has no armor, so he's vulnerable during the channel of his really strong ult >_>

couple things wrong with that... zoanthropes do infact have claws and toxic miasma to fight with, and warp blast has a 4 second cd at level one... which really really sucks if thats your main attack. and unless he wants to skip out some of his skills, hes gona be stuck with a pretty crappy attack

yep Razz WS3, S4, A2 Razz and they have toxic miasma, which reduces attakers ws by 1

Well, if you give him a starting level of Warp blast, decrease the cooldown and mana cost... it's kinda hard to land, takes a bit of skill considering how small the AoE is, so making it only like 40-50 mana at level 7 with a 2-3 second cooldown wouldnt be too bad.

(note: will have a really low, if not non existant base damage)

innate: Warp Blast
Mana Cost: 30/35/40/45/50/55
Casting Range: 550/575/600/625/650/675
CD: 1.5/1.25/1/0.75/0.5/0.25
AoE: ~25-50

Deals 75/100/125/150/175/200 damage.
(note: i might revert back to your numbers.. who knows)


skill one: Psychic scream
Mana Cost: 150/190/230/270
Casting Range: self
CD: 26/24/22/20
AoE: 400
Duration: 2/3/4/5

Emits a high-pitched scream that deals 100/150/200/250 damage to nearby enemies, who are silenced and take +10/20/30/40% magic damage.


skill two: Psychic Shield
Mana Cost: 125/175/225/275
Casting range: self
CD: 23
Duration: 5/6/7/8

Removes all debuffs from the Zoanthrope and makes it immune to slows. In addition, all sources of damage have a 30/40/50/60% chance of being ignored.

innate: Bonded Exoskeleton
Bonded Exoskeletons come from ageing, and the older an organism the tougher its chitin. Various layers of bone, muscle and cartilage grow over various vital spots forming a sleek cover over the entire body. This makes creatures extremely tough and difficult to kill. Increases Armor and resistance by U/V/W/X/Y/Z every 10 minutes of the game.

skill one: Adrenal Sac
The sac is a special container for excess adrenaline which it can use to temporarily enhance its senses, abilities and physical attributes. It is not big enough for extended use and will run out and require refilling after a single use.
Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80
On self
Duration: 12/15/18/20 Seconds
+ O/P/Q/R Str + S/T/U/V Agi + W/X/Y/Z Movement speed
Cooldown: 1 minute

skill two: Acid Blood
Literally all of the creatures bodily fluids are acidic so deep wounds will spew acidic liquids over nearby units. It has an equally devastating effect on armour as it does on flesh and is especially effective against lightly armoured enemies. Does damage to nearby units upon being attacked by W/X/Y/Z. Passive


skill three: Regenerate.
Carnifexes have shown the ability to repair the most destructive battle damage, including delicate tissues and bodily organs, at an astonishing rate. Often scars are left, most notably in the head and neck which would be fatal to most other species.
Cooldown: 5 minutes?
Duration 10 seconds
Cast on Self
Manacost: 100
+W/X/Y/Z Health per Second

ult: Spine Banks
There are rows of spines embedded in cavities in the carapace of the creature which are fired by muscle contraction at close ranges. This showers an area with spines covered with poison which easily incapacitate and distract nearby enemies.

CD: 120
Mana Cost: 150/175/200
Slow by 50%/60%/70%
Damage: 150/200/250

Didn't mean to do that, haha. Are you kidding me? Carnifex's are incredibly slow haha. And the regen is a bit op don't ya think? :/ Maybe not 5 mins, but you don't want him running into a base with imba HP/s and not dying Razz

depends on how much he regenerates Razz

and 300 is a normal hero, so you would haev to buy 2 jetpacks (which isnt possible) just to walk at the same speed as most heros do naked... i would say 280 or 285

make it like a 30-40 cd, and have it regen... 10/20/30/40%? or like 10/15/20/25% over 20 seconds, or 10 seconds... or something like that
