implement a melee/range switch for asurmen?

ok, so we all know that if you want asurmen in melee range, its sooooo hard to keep him there.
so i thought that i could add a toggle to battlefate that would set his acquisition range to 100 and back to simulate a melee range switch.
turns out that fails.

so my question is: should i implement a full melee range switch into his battle fate, making it easier to stay in melee range if you want to, but also not letting you attack from range once your in melee mode?
basicalyl itll ease the use of his ult and defend skills. nothing else would change, and his melee skills would still work if he was close to an enemy, and he would still get the ranged benefits if he somehow attacked his enemy at range during melee mode, it just helps keep him where you want him.

so... yes or no?
