Where do i get the newest Warcraft update???

plz tell me, i have downlaoded maps and there not workin.

do you have 1.24? cause that patch broke *alot* of custom maps

I heard they changed alot of maps like footys and dota as well. It was because the 1.24 changed something that messes of some maps. And 1.24 came out t prevent people from getting viruses by joining games and downloading some maps (I for one and relieved.)

the reason maps dont work, is because of a bug in jass coding, that blizz said they wouldnt fix, because it was too widly used
(basically, it allowed u to give the wrong type of thing when asking for something, like trying to get a number, but giving a unit => which allows to get the unique id of a unit, used in many systems and spells)
but someone found a way to get a code from a number (or something like that) and used that code to run things on/access your computer, so blizz had to fix it... causing all maps that used this bug (any good map pretty much) to stop working. and as alot of these older maps are no longer updated by their creators, and are protected, they are no longer playable on battle.net

lolz *that* person must have been REEAAALLLLYYYY bored. I mean, I had a friend who create this game which looked like footies from joning but turned out to be this gay game where ur comp spammed gay pics on ur comp....loz I laughed so hard whenever he got a full house...but he had no life XD

lol thats the kinda thing blizz had to fix cause as well as doing that, they could execute code on your computer, and like plant viruses and malicious software on it.
