I was playing "Werewolf" earlier.. and some douche host was threatening to boot / ban someone because he was accusing him of being the Wolf ... right off the bat, that's epic phail - accusing people is the whole point of game. So, anyway, the fucked up part is is the guy ends up being the wolf. I'm a Zombie, level 16 with Oberon and Timber as minions, the wolf is level 10 tops, and I go and attack his base during the day while all his were beasts are corpses. What does he do? He cries like a bitch and boots me. What the fuck is wrong with these people? He knew he was going to lose because he phails at the game, so to win he boots? What the fuck is the point? Are games no longer about skill, but whoever can download the latest crack now?

Some people realize the value of honor and fair play, while others are selfish. You don't get to pick who hosts your game, usually, so there's not much that can be done about the game.

About the person... Well, some people are fucked up. *shrugs* You find them all the time, everywhere, so don't let one little incident shake your faith in everyone else who shares your ideals about games.

And yes, he does fail, but it's only one game. If he's such an asshole to boot to win, his win is ultimately pyrrhic and self-defeating, because all he's satisfied is his sense of self-worth and not any spirit of competition.
