Items lost

twice now when i am coming into the shop, I have purchased the item immediately after it allows me to buy, rather then receiving the item,i it has been attributed to another location i cannot locate

Don't buy it immediately. I am guessing this is probably a bug I found a while back which occasionally makes it so the shops don't pick up your inventory right away, but allow you to buy, sending the item to the nearest thing with an inventory: The shopkeepers themselves.

I could be wrong though.

Sometimes when you switch (when it was working) people have lost items because they put them on the ground to make room for recipes and whatnot, then switch and end up losing those items 'cause they're sitting in the enemy's base. Should add a locker. Make those Circle of Power storage or something. It doesn't happen very often, but it can make switching completely useless 'cause the person is now stranded on the other team without his gear. Saw it happen afew times awhile ago.

shops dont have an inventory... did u have a squig?

they never did Razz which is wierd, cause i know what your talking about, and it seems like they do

though i am thinking i should start buying one so that this doesn't happen cause i can just but to it and have it meet my guy at the bases edge

Oh speaking of lost items: You know how allies can't pick up your items? Well... enemies can. I can kind of see why for Auspex, but can we take that off for other items? The reason I say this is not everyone knows of the squigs (I don't even know where they're sold), and last game I played, an ally left a recipe he'd bought on the ground (He'd gotten the Sword of Secret recipe, but realized after buying it he was missing an ingredient he couldn't afford.). We had almost lost, so the enemy was at our base. One of them sees the recipe, runs in, grabs it, and dies to the fountain. While we got the gold for imperials killing him, he lost the recipe, and the item stealer made a lot more off of the recipe.

I work my carrier squig to death. He's always buying something and then running to an allied outpost nearest to my character, dropping the items, then running back to pick up more stuff. its very useful.

if you make it impossible for enemies to steal items, could the squig be made invul? cause it seems silly o have your item that cant be picked up by anyone but you to become lost in the woods cause your stupid squig ran into an enemy hero, or creeps, while you were busy fighting

BTW, Auspex is the exception to these rules, right?

(And yeah, sadly I didn't save the replay, but I definitely saw the person run in and take the item.)

yeah, auspex is the only drops on death item currently, so its pickupable(is that a word?) by enemies
