Time to get back to work.

I hope everyone enjoyed their christmas break and had a happy new year. And if you didn't have a break, just the spirit of the holidays then.

It's a new year, if no one's noticed, and Grass actually put out 0.44 to everyone's delight. Yet I'm glad everyone's still busy thinking up ideas.

At this point, however, I believe we should begin to focus on content for the map outside of heroes. There are so many unanswered questions we need to deliberate like what should other builds do within the towns? How can we fix the item setup and make it less confusing?

Heroes, I confess, are fun to think up, but we need to seriously start contributing to other parts of the map, like those vanilla lizards, if we want to get anywhere.

New modes would also be an improvement and would help make the map unique from other AoS's in that we have so much fluff and background material to work with and it's already written for us. All we need to do is plan and implement it.

agree!!

neutral spawns (lizards are still just placeholders):
necron wariors with scarabs (medium camp)
tyranid fex with hormagaunts (hard camp)
ork squigoth with squigs (hard camp)

need some more ideas.

we've already discussed the seperation of recipe shops from basic shops within the base itself. and im actually planning on simplifying the armor tree like making wraithbone a basic, adding possibly flak armor? and then getting rid of the useless artificer and exarch armor or possibly changing what they do to actually make it worth it

buildings currently add damage to creeps when killed. small buildings(farms, towers) add .5 damage, and large buildings(baraks, armory, lumber mill) add 1 damage to all creeps spawned after their death.
other than that, i dont really want buildings in the base to serve a function other than slowing down the enemy creeps.

as for modes, i need to start working on races mode (we have... necrons, nids, orks, eldar, chaos, tau, smurfs and inquisition) and titans mode. possibly even a tyranid invasion mode... dunno about that one yet tho
