Competing for the last spot: A Wild Rider of Saim-Hann, a Pathfinder of Alaitoc, or a Warp Spider Phoenix Lord.

Oh! Aliatoc pathfinders are like the ranger exarchs pretty much. They are EPIC snipers and scouts and just win. According to the Codex: Craftworld Eldar.

And the saim-Han wildrider chief... He's like the leader of an eldar house... Kinda like an eldar noble that leads jet bike squadrons. I'm not sure there would be enough to make a hero out of him tho.

Is an Aliatoc Pathfinder a rank or special advancement from a veteren ranger, or a completely different type of eldar?

its the equivalant of the ranger exarch.

even tho they are rangers cause they couldnt stand the strictness of the warrior path >.>

they are super rangers who have spent nearly their entire life wandering and have gained super awesome skills

they ignored difficult terrain, could move in impassible, had a better chance to roll AP1 on their rifles, are fearless, could always be on the board at the start no matter what, and could make a free move after infiltrating

Perhaps we can mingle this into a dark eldar hero?

Maybe they wont even have a choice... That nasty dark eldar commander, rauth I think. Isn't he the one who does all the creepy macarbre experiments? He could have possibly found a way to turn Eldar troops into dark eldar... More powerfull eldar probably needing a higher concentration of corruption..

Dark eldar heroes are the highest priority atm, we dont need others

We have 5, thats the least we need for taverns that grass wants. Fuck em. If a race can't produce their own units I can't go along with them stealing another races.

Thats what chaos did to both Space Marines and the Eldar... Not really stealing, think of it as evolving or expanding.

Dark Eldar would not have something similar to Alaitoc Rangers since their military went along a completely different path. Dark Eldars are based on warriors that banded together because they shared the common pleasure of torture and murder. Their elite units are basically the ones that are enjoy more and are better at killing and murdering. Starstriders are rangers from the Eldar craftworld Alaitoc, which is famous for its rangers becoming these super pathfinders. Alaitoc's ARE the evolution these eldar became. Besides, the two groups would be more interested in murdering each other than trying to make them their own, since both of them look down on the others ways in disgust.

The only faction I would accept Alaitoc's to be a part of besides Eldar is when (YOUR DOING THIS GRASS, DAMMIT) Harlequin's get their own faction tavern, since Starstriders have a loose alliance with them. They share their findings of the galaxy with each other and fight together.

So you're saying the Rangers are a totally different species to the normal Eldar?

What? No. I'm saying the Dark Eldar are completely different from Eldar. I even said Alaitoc Rangers are Craftworld Eldar. Dark Eldar would never have anything like them because Starstriders (its what the Rangers that go on these galaxy wide travels call themselves) are something that developed a long time after the Fall. Dark Eldar are the closest they can be to the Eldar at the time of the Fall, so if they were going to have something like them we would already know about it.

Well, I would prefer that Harlequins and Dark Eldar get grouped together, but Grass doesn't exactly agree with me. Something about some strange reason which I still can't fathom. >>;

As for the Alaitoc Pathfinders, they should be in the Eldar Tavern. Thus, we'd have:

Ulthwe: Eldrad
Alaitoc: Pathfinders
Iyanden: Yriel and Iyanna
Biel-Tan: Avatar, all the other Phoenix Lords
Altansar: Maugan Ra
Saim-Hann: Err... >>; Shining Spear Exarch?

I would prefer they have seperate taverns also, but not for whatever grass was saying. What if Dark Eldar do ever get more heroes and the Harlequins get their 5 also. There wouldn't be room for a shared tavern then.

<_< Saim-Hann would be a Wild Rider, the thing they are famous for. Shining Spear are just what they have the most of out of all the craftworlds, but its not what they are famous for.

gly, i want dark eldar and harlequins seperate becqause.... well dark eldar ARENT harlequins, and harlequins ARENT dark eldar.
(for ex. the inquisition can be a part of any imperial army, but they are still gona get their own tavern)

and we nned a hero from each major craftworld (biel-tan, ulthwe, alaitoc, saim-han, iyanden), the avatar, and the phoenix lords
(that would be Eldrad(ulthwe), Yriel/Iyanna(Iyanden), then we can do a wild-rider for saim-han, a pathfinder for aliatoc (even tho im agianst this >.>) and something for biel tan (look into the young king?))
cause the phoenix lords arent really 'tied' to a specific craftworld like the named heroes are

and wild rider > shining spear exarch imo

Oh and could there be clues as to where each Phoenix Lord came from by which Shrines they founded? Or the Spirit Stones could come from where they were born... Long time ago though, I'll try to look into it furvently.
