Listen up, now.
I want a reliable backup. I can't predict the time constraints that will bind me in the future, and I'd prefer the map to progress in my absence. That's why I left the clan in the first place; so that the clan could acquire a reasonable replacement.
Time to name names.
Mortis, Bloodraven, (Faire), or even GUO, if you three and a half are interested in becoming shamans, you need to show a certain amount of dedication to the map. I, Cell, or Grass can point you to get the resources you need, but at this point, the only thing stopping you two from becoming shaman is your willingness to work on things that you haven't made, i.e. heroes.
In other words, please try to refrain from working on new heroes. They aren't getting in any time soon, trust me on that. I made Maugan Ra in September of last year and he's still not in. Your time and energy are needed elsewhere, sadly.
Having a certain degree of power demands you be inclusive in your jurisdiction. As I said earlier, there's an absolutely gigantic pile of work that needs be done, but only Grass and I are doing it.
There's a new list of items to balance in effects and prices, a new mode in tyranids mode that will not only need models and skill icons, a terrain evaluation, stats of tyranid creeps, a refinement of tyranid heroes already made, the ongoing balance debacle within the current version, both in items and heroes, evaluation of all Tau and Dark Eldar heroes to be put in in 0.47 and models and skill icons from them, refinement of hireables and creep/structure upgrades, changing of the outpost system, etc, etc, etc.
The list goes forever. If I disappear, Grass can't do it all, so get off your lazy rears and pick one thing, if any, to do. We already hammered out of a lot of it, so it shouldn't be too bad.
I already spoke once to a few of you individually, and you know what I expect. This is just my call to the community.

Re: Listen up, now.
Yeah sure gly, I dont think I'd go shammy but I am frequenting the forums more often nowadays.
*Also* I have noticed that Grass has almost finished .46?
Ok, those who are willing to spend a bit more time working on this map, speak up in this thread.
Perhaps those willing to work on the map, should be given individual "projects" to streamline things a bit, such as hireables, different modes (such as nid, titans, etc), and various heroes.
Thats just my idea.

Yet you have a voice, metaphorically. Eventually, it'll fix itself.

Eventually, if you give me an excuse to do that, I will. Too bad that's not the case.

Re: Listen up, now.
Mortality is a taste of the flame, a short period of time when we sense everything want to. As with light, love, luck, and so much of our lives, everything is best in fleeting amounts, to teach us not only its value, but also to humble us. To be mortal is to be alive, and there are no sign up sheets to become a mountain or a desert, because even those things fade in time.
Now, if I'm foolish, that's ok.

Re: Listen up, now.
Mortality is actually a good thing... If you were truly unkillable, and lived throughout the ages, you would probably cause yourself infinite amounts of pain for you outlive your friends, watch your family line die out, and watch your friend's family lines die out.
Eventually you'll probably rip out your eardrums and your eyes, to spare yourself watching the cycle of life (i.e. bacteria, evolution, huge big catastrophe, humans, huge big catastrophe, bacteria etc etc.)
As such you would disfigure yourself from the depression, faire.

Re: Listen up, now.
Mortality is a BAD thing. Where else can the fun of watching hundreds upon thousands of people grow old and die occur? Enjoy watching your enemies and those you dislike slowly deteriorate and fall apart, whilst you dance around. Bathe in the blood of your enemies, destroy any who dare oppose your immortal might! Your chainblade shall bathe in the blood of your misguided foes, and your strength of will and might shall receive the blessings of the gods as you embark on this might crusade to slaughter all those who oppose you! For CHAOS! DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!

Re: Listen up, now.
You will not have a chainblade, for it would have corroded and become useless. You can get no pleasure or value out of immotality. How can you enjoy watching your enemys fail and decay, when it isn't you doing the killing?
Trust me, after a few trillion years, you'll try to get yourself 'Eternal Rest' but being immortal you will have to sit through all of existance.
I'd probably devote myself to thousands of nigh-impossible projects, just to keep me busy.

Hey guys... lets get back to the original topic at hand...
I would like to dedicate more time towards GiF, preferably towards 'nid mode and hire-ables

If I missed anything, Grass will be happy to point you in the right direction. It's a start, though.
