I tried and failed to come up with stuff for Lhykosidae... So, I did this.

Baharroth, the Cry of the Wind


STR (Focus) 20 + 1.8
AGI (Primary) 26 + 2.4
INT 18 + 1.5

Story
Baharroth is the oldest of the Swooping Hawks, the first of the winged Exarchs, and the founder of the Warrior Path that is represented today by the Swooping Hawks shrines throughout the craftworlds. He was the most vibrant and youthful of the Phoenix Lords, revelling in the sensation of the sun on his wings. Since learning the arts of war from Asurmen himself, Baharroth has been reborn many times. Innumerable battlefields have felt his anger. Countless foes have fallen before his might. Baharroth means the Cry of the Wind, for he is the master of flight and though he moves with the subtlety of a zephyr he attacks with the force of a hurricane.

Skyleap [Innate - Passive / Cast]

The fastest Eldar to have ever lived, Baharroth's speed on the ground and in the sky is nearly unbeatable.

Passively gives Baharroth +10/20/30/40/50/60 IMS.
Can leap into the air, flying to target location within 600/750/900/1050/1300/1500.

Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80/85
Cooldown: 15

Hawk's Talon [Passive / Cast]

The Hawk's Talon is a more powerful version of the Lasblaster.

Passively gives +10/20/30/40 dmg.
Targetted enemy unit takes 75/150/225/300 dmg, knockback'd 200, and stunned for .5/1/1.5/2 seconds.

Mana Cost: 70/100/130/160
Cooldown: 15

Intercept [Cast]

Baharroth leaps into the air and chases down his foes.

Flies to targetted unit within 700/800/900/1000.
Cannot target a unit closer than 400.
Deals dmg equal to 25/40/55/70 + (2/3/4/5 x STR) to target unit on landing.
Also knocks back units in 300 AoE by 400, but deals no dmg.

Mana Cost: 90/120/150/180
Cooldown: 18

Death from Above [Passive]

Baharroth carries a specialized grenade pack to rain down death when flying overhead.

Number of grenades dropped is equal to 1 per 150 distance flown (during other skills).
Grenade dropped randomized from two choices: Plasma and Haywire.
Plasma: Blinds effected units for .5/1/1.5/2 seconds, deals 25/35/45/55 dmg per grenade in 200 AoE.
Haywire: Cripples effected units for .5/1/*/1.5 seconds, deals 35/45/55/65 dmg per grenade in 200 AoE.

Swooping Hawk [Ultimate - Cast] e(may i suggest sustained assault?)

Baharroth takes to the skies in pursuit of his target. Relentlessely chasing down the unfortunate enemy.

Flies into the air and chases targetted unit within 1000/1250/1500.
Makes 1/*/2 passes over targetted unit, dealing base dmg + 50/75/100 per pass.
Baharroth finishes by landing ontop of the enemy.
Deals an additional 200/225/250 + (.5/1/1.5 x STR) in dmg and Cripples for 1/2/3 seconds.

Mana Cost: 230/290/350
Cooldown: 90

That is WAY too high. Same with the +Str on the ult.

Not to mention your ult deals like 2000+ damage.

I've never claimed to be good with numbers. LoL. Not to mention I was on the verge of passing out when I made him.

As with all my other builds, the numbers are mostly just random figures I throw in so I don't have to type the ABC's.

EDIT: Lowered them both. Now comments on the build and not how bad my math sucks?

Well, he isn't a psyker, so INT as primary or focus doesn't make sense.. In fluff he's fast and hits hard, so AGI and STR.

He might be too maneuverable as a hero. He has the capablity to jump 5400 distance if he uses all his skills. How big is the map? xD

Innate is fine, so is Talon.

What's the point of limiting the distance at which the skill can be used?

yes, but hes not very ffragile if he has a high str gain Razz plus the fact that he has 4 blinks out of 5 skills

I didn't mean it like natural large gain, I meant like that's what items (other than AGI) a person would need to get to make him effective. Anyway, I guess you could hop across the map ... but then you'd land and be there waiting for CDs.

also! death from above, i suggest you make it passive, and rename it to grenade pack or something... or toggle to swtich between which type of nade he drops..

etiehr way, it will cut down on the insane amount of blinks he has Razz and also cut down his mana intensivess...
something like:
whenever baharoth travels more than 150 distance in X seconds, he drops a grenade at his location dealing X damage. Plasma causes targets to miss, haywire slows by X

Changed it to Passive. But I like the name "Death from Above".

Oh, Model and Wings..

If you could mak him less ... golden. That'd be cool, but I like the model.
Pretty sure those're the same wings you use for the Swooping Hawk Wings already. So... yeah..

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Anyway, I found another model that looks kind of Tau-ish.
Don't know if we have a Tau hero in need a model ... but it looks cool.

EDIT: Looking at that 'Mantis' model, it's a pretty big file... I'm going to look for a smaller one.

Needs mana costs and cooldowns, but otherwise can go into the game with testing.

As for the build...

holyshithesaganker.

But really. His movement speed will give him great pressing ability, along with a ranged weapon, and he's very jumpy.
He has a nice blend of burst and stat-tempered damage and I see lots of potential.
