List of Tau Heroes
Heroes already made:
O'Shovah, Commander Farsight
O'Shaserra, Commander Shadowsun
Vespid Saboteur
Pathfinder
Aun'va, High Ethereal and Master of the Undying Spirit/Aun'va's Remake
Anghkor Prok- Master Shaper**
Heroes in the process of making:
R'myr, Commander Longknife
XV88 Broadside Battlesuit
Heroes not made:
Shas'o Ralai, XV9 Commander
Aun'shi, Ethereal
Firewarrior w/Rail Rifle
XV15/25 Stealthsuit
If you're curious about markerlights, Pathfinder, Farsight (Maybe), R'myr (maybe), Broadside, and the Stealthsuit can have them. Pathfinder would have the only global Markerlight.
Other Heroes:
Val'Kyr the Shas'ui Fire Warrior**
Shas' UI' Peth' Monat' Kauyon (Unconventional Fire Warrior)**
Dreekash: First Kroot Shaman.**
**: Suggest that these heroes be re-evaluated. It's perfectly fine to put them in as is, since we have exactly 12 spots, but they might need adjustment in skills or what not.

Re: List of Tau Heroes
Oh, one last thing. I put a little blurb about markerlights, but how many do we want?
Also, given the current setup of 12 heroes, here are my thoughts for the distribution:
Farsight: Str, 350 range (Close-range Leader? We'll figure out what he becomes?)
Shadowsun: Int, 325 range (General Support)
Vespid: Agi, Melee (Disabler, Semi-carry)
Pathfinder: Int, 450 range (Map Control)
Aun'va: Int, Melee (Healer, Support)
Anghkor Prok: Agi, Melee (Ganker, Harasser)
R'myr: Str, ~400 range (Balanced leader)
XV88: Str, SMS range: 500, Railgun Range: 1000 (Long Range Firepower, Anti-building)
Ralai: Str, ~450 range (Long-range Leader)
Aun'shi: Agi, Melee (Anti-mob, Support)
Railfire: Int, 500-750 range (Long range Firepower, anti-unit)
XV15/25: Agi, 375 Range (Close-range firepower, support)
So we have 4 supports, 2 long-range units, a ganker, a disabler, a map controller, and three leaders, all which act at different ranges. (near, in-between, and far). I'd say that's not too bad.
A lack of anti-hero and anti-caster does hurt it in comparison to other races, though.
