[movement][recipe]Warp Icon
Warp Icon:
requires:
mark of khorne - 850g
mark of nurgle - 650g
mark of tzeench - 650g
mark of slaanesh - 650g
total - 2800g
gave:
+12 all stats
+2 armor [non-stacking]
+1 mana/sec [non-stacking]
+3% movespeed [non-stacking]
+15% ias
+5 damage
well, just a random idea that i thought out... it makes the user faster by slowing down everything around it, making it seem like its moving faster.
im well aware this might not be well accepted, but w/e XD didnt take much time to think up

"Twisted icon of Chaos that is imbued with an
aura of hate and evil. It places the bearer into
their own warp-space, allowing them to act in
their own time.
gives:
+15 all stats
+2 armor
+1.5 mana/second
Warp Zone
(Warp Zone: Passive, aura. Slows the movespeed and attackspeed
of *all* nearby units by 14%)

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
14% might be a bit high for a passive item slow?
Consider what KoS will do with this thing.

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
well, it trasnlates to 14% increased movespeed so youll have 42 ms over everyone else.
so i could do 14% slow, or +42 ms to self, it works out to the same.
oh, and the aoe would be around 1k, and it would affect allies (if you ddint gather that much)
which is why i didnt think it would be well accepted. it is a quirky item, and im running it by you guys to see if u think it would be a good idea. im fully aware that its possible that people wont like it and that it wont go much farther than this thread

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
Wasn't this going to be a Mark of Chaos Undivided? Like the name states.
I personally don't like the idea of an accessory that provides a slow debuff to all those around. We already have a lot of trouble with DPS classes and debuffs to movement speed, since Raven's Talons, Thunder Hammer, and other items provide a chance to slow.
If anything, we need an item that can trigger Ethereal form, a purge, summon something interesting, like a scout, perhaps wards for vision around the map, and a wind walk item.

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
well, one, its a movement item, not an accessory, and two, its almost like giving yourself a 14% ms buff, because *everyting* around your is 14% slower. for a long range, including allies. so you become faster in effect
now, ill accept if you dont like it, but just had to clarify a few things
oh, and it can become a mark of chaos undivided, but that doesnt really strike me as a movement item
oh! and the name and stats can change, but the real focus of this item was to have the large aoe slow to make it like your moving faster, and as i was thinking warpfield and warptime, i decided to make it chaos theme

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
It doesn't sound bad to me, but two things come to mind:
A) You're not actually moving faster, in that it still takes the same time to get from point A to point B, so really it's more of a combat movement item than a general movement one.
B) I'm afraid of how it will stack up with other slows, being passive (AKA always stacks).
That being said, I do like how it affects allies as well, and it doesn't seem bad.
I do agree that a triggered Ethreal form would be nice.
However, for the wards, we already have them, though few use them (Skull probes).
Too bad too, since they're great for finding runes or placing them in the usual gank areas (But mostly for the runes, especially top and bottom runes).

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
hmm, ok i honestly didnt think of that...
so maby do +9% self ms/ias, and a 9% ias/ms slow for others? so u get an effective 18% faster, but it actually does something outside of combat.
9% of 300 is 27, so by itself, its a bit less than jet packs, but around others, its still very good.
and to point b, thats why it costs 2800

Re: [movement][recipe]Warp Icon
Hmmm... all right.
Just want to point out though that cost does not always balance effects (Examples: Warp generator thingy and the Sacred Standard.), so keep that in mind.
That being said, a 9% slow should be fine as a slow, even a stacking one, and the 9% boost solves the first problem.
Basically, I like it.
